“In my time as VM Manager of Lifestore, Louise was a pleasure to work with.
Always thinking outside of the box, coming up with creative ideas for displays and working them through to instillation.
A natural leader and great team player, she inspired others to do better.
She’s since worked with me at Nicole Farhi and with my wedding decoration business in London (http://www.jennifersueweddings.co.uk/).”
Andy Costain, Operations Director, The Pier
“During her time with The Pier Louise was involved in the opening of four Pier sites and the re-merchandising of many more across the northern region.
Louise’s work was of a very high standard with an excellent attention to detail coupled with a keen commercial eye. As with all store openings a lot of hard work and long hours was required but Louise was always up beat and keen to be at the forefront of the team.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Louise to any employer or client and would re-employ should the opportunity arise.”
Sandra Gregory, Area Manager, Cancer Research UK
‘I just wanted to say that your support for the charity is much appreciated! Not only do you create innovative and exciting windows, but you also create a talking point for our customers who wait in anticipation as to what the end result will be…
The themes that you create and work with set us apart from the rest of our competitors… a real focal point. Thank you!”
A year ago I wrote about ‘January sales with style, Berlin’ (see blog post from 9th January 2015), looking at how the German’s minimalistic approach to presentation created a very tasteful looking sale.
As a Visual Merchandiser the Christmas season is the busiest time of the year because for many retailers its the most vital sales period.
This was an exciting collaboration with Helen Draper Mercer, a dynamic and creative Manchester based stylist. We were tasked with designing and creating an installation to display 10 pieces of clothing within a perspex cube for the ‘Wonders of Autumn’ campaign at McArthurGlen, Cheshire Oaks, one of the UK’s leading Designer Outlets.
This 7 day Summer Garden festival is a hive of activity sprawling across Manchester’s St Ann’s Square, King Street & Cathedral Walk. The event is alive with cafes, bars & live music. It turns the concept of traditional gardening on its head & showcases community projects throughout Manchester. If you’re in the area check it […]
Last week I told you about the planning & preparation of my container garden, I can now reveal the finished product.
If you had chance to read my blog about my recent trip to ‘The Lost Gardens of Manchester’ exhibition at the Manchester City Art Gallery then you will be aware of how inspired I was to create something similar for myself. Well I’ve been busy over the last month & done just that.
