Last week I was lucky enough to be involved in the launch of Robbie Williams’ menswear brand, Farrell at Primark, Manchester. I was tasked with dressing the window ready for launch.

The brand is named after Robbie’s grandfather, Jack Farrell. The quirky branding features quotes from his granddad such as ‘Don’t trust a man who doesn’t eat his pudding’. It was previously launched in 2011 but ceased trading, so this marked the re-launch of the brand. There are 30 pieces in the collection, showing fastidious attention to detail such as single breast pocket t-shirts and the stitched Staffordshire knot emblem referencing his Stoke origins. The range includes denim, chinos, brogue shoes, checked shirts, t-shirts and much more.

The full collection can be found in-store, the use of wooden crates, distressed wooden shelving, vintage props and a tile effect floor certainly adds to its appeal-
